Dear Students, Parents, Guardians and Trillium Community Members:
Re: Staff changes at Trillium P.S.
It is with mixed feelings that I announce my retirement as of December 31, 2014. Unfortunately, I have developed health issues. When these things occur in life you reflect and talk at length to those who are closest to you – family. With the help of my family as a guide, I have determined that I need to look after myself so that I in turn can help look after my family. I would like to thank the Trillium Community and especially the students for making my time at Trillium one that I can look back on with fondness and happy memories. We are waiting to hear from the Board who my replacement will be. We hope to hear on December 9th, and we will notify the community at that time.
We are pleased to announce that as of Monday, November 24th, our new Core French Teacher, Mr. Ripley, has started at Trillium! Mr. Ripley comes to us from Edna Staebler School. We would like to thank Miss Hoeller for doing an excellent job filling the gap between Madame Knetsch and Mr. Ripley. Mr. Ripley, Miss Hoeller, and Madame Knetsch have met to help ensure a smooth transition. On behalf of the entire Trillium School Community, welcome Mr. Ripley!
As many of you are aware, Mrs. Morrison is expecting a new addition to her family. Friday, November 28th will be her last day as she begins her maternity leave. We wish Mrs. Morrison and her family all the best. We are in the process of finding a replacement and will communicate this information once someone is hired.
Respectfully,
Mr. Dunham
