You can now register your child (born in 2012) for junior kindergarten on-line at www.wrdsb.ca or click the link on our webpage.
Once you have completed the online registration, then please come to the school to submit your child’s documentation, during the week of:
February 8th to 12th
8:30 to 4:00
(Note: On Wed., Feb. 10th, the Office will be open until 5:30)
If you would prefer to set up an appointment rather than dropping by (to avoid “busy times” in the office such as during morning attendance!) just call us at 519-743-6368 to arrange a time.
Note that this time is meant for office staff to gather documentation to register your child, so there is no need for your child to attend with you. When you come, you will be given an invitation for a parent/child event on May 19th in the evening. At that event, children can experience a more meaningful introduction to Trillium (they can visit a Kindie classroom, see the Library, etc.) to help support their successful transition to school.
Once the on-line registration is completed, the documentation you need to bring with you is proof of age and proof of address.
If you do not already have proof of age documentation for your child, please start taking steps to get it. Documents such as birth certificate, birth registration, baptismal certificate or passport are suitable. (Sorry, no health cards.)
In order to verify that your child is in the proper school boundary, we also need to see proof of address (driver’s license, copy of offer to purchase, lease/rental agreement, recent tax or utility bill with name and address of residence).
Immunization records are no longer being collected by the school. Please use one of the following methods to provide your child’s immunization records to Public Health:

Note that Public Health has the authority to restrict your child from attending school if proper documentation has not been filed with them.
