Wednesday, October 9th we had an exciting morning of tree planting!

Trillium Dragons partnered up with a local non-profit, Reep Green Solutions, Definity Insurance, Green Communities Canada, and our School Council to plant 8 more trees across our schoolyard for the community and future Dragons to enjoy!  Thank you to our Green Team, Garden Club, and our amazing custodian, Mrs. Arteaga for helping us plant, water, and take care of the trees while they root.  We also want to say thank you to our Kindergarten classes for leading the planting ceremony with a beautiful Land Acknowledgement!  Special thanks go to our Superintendent, Jodi Albrecht, our Trustees, Maedith Radlein and Joanne Weston, and our Facilities Supervisor, Michelle Griffin for attending the ceremony and helping us plant more clean, green trees for our community!  Check out the post this week from the WRDSB https://www.wrdsb.ca/blog/2024/11/20/students-staff-and-volunteers-dig-in-to-bring-new-trees-to-wrdsb-schools/
